Why I Do What I Do!
Ever since I was 11 years old, I was fascinated by pregnant women and often wondered how those babies were going get out! My fascination with pregnancy and the birth process just grew when I had my own children in 1996 and 1998. Although labor is physically and mentally challenging, it is doable. Having experienced, compassionate, objective and knowledgeable support can help make your labour empowered and positive. I have worked as a Doula and Childbirth Educator for 15 years in Victoria and am continually humbled that parents ask me to be part of this most intimate and private time of their lives.

My goal for you and your family (however you define it), is to help you tap into the strength, power and confidence you already possess in order for you to birth your baby. Knowledge is power, and my job is to equip you with enough evidence-based information to help you and your family choose methods of birth that are right for you.
I've lived in Victoria for 15 years and feel privileged and humbled to work, play and live on the territorial and ancestral lands of the Lekwungen people. My husband and I have raised two awesome kids who are now young adults. I balance my life between singing in the choir, hiking, walking my dog, cycling, enjoying the outdoors and travelling.
